FAQ
How is this different from a contractor?
A contractor is an arms-length resource. Staff aug engineers report to your team, follow your processes and are accountable to your engineering manager. They're an extension, not a vendor.
What time-zone overlap do you provide?
By default 4-5 hours overlap with US East Coast and most of Europe. APAC overlap is full. For US West / specific overlap needs, we configure engineer schedules.
Can we hire them full-time later?
Yes. After 6+ months on retainer we support direct conversion with a one-time placement fee — usually preferred by both sides if the engagement is going well.
What about IP and confidentiality?
MSA covers IP assignment, NDA, sub-processor disclosure. Engineers use client-owned repos and credentials. Standard enterprise terms.
