Distributor Management & Sales Force Automation Development
Field sales in India runs on entry-level Android phones and unreliable network. We build distributor management and sales-force automation systems that capture orders at the retail point whether or not there is signal, and reconcile schemes before they become month-end arguments.
What we build
- Beat planning with map-aware routing and visit schedules
- Offline order capture with product catalogue and multi-tier pricing
- Scheme engine — buy-N-get-M, slabs and value discounts, computed at order time
- Proof of delivery with photo, signature and GPS tag
- Live field-rep tracking, geo-fenced check-ins and off-route alerts
- Distributor portal with stock visibility and primary-secondary reconciliation
- Background sync engine with conflict resolution
- Sales analytics by rep, beat, outlet and SKU
- Returns and exchange workflows
- Slow-moving SKU alerts and scheme ROI tracking
What you receive
- Offline-first Android app for field reps, tuned for 2 GB-RAM devices
- iOS app for managers
- Next.js manager console with real-time dashboards
- Distributor portal for stock and claim reconciliation
- Route optimiser and outlet geocoding
- Source code, hosting, documentation and field-team training
Why custom over off-the-shelf
Offline is the requirement, not a feature
Orders, attendance, photos and surveys all have to work with no connectivity and reconcile later. That is an architecture decision — a durable local store and a background sync worker — and it cannot be bolted onto a system that assumed a live connection.
Your scheme logic is the product
Slabs, buy-N-get-M, value discounts and regional variations are where distribution businesses actually differ. Computing them at order time, visibly to the rep, is what stops the month-end reconciliation argument. On the Hyderabad FMCG build, order errors fell 78%.
It has to run on the phone the rep already owns
We target entry-level Android with 2 GB RAM and patchy network — offline SQLite, optimistic UI, image-based SKU selection. A rep app that needs a mid-range device is a rollout that stalls.
Real engagement

Order errors down 78%. Field team productivity increased 3× within 90 days of go-live.
“We came in with a rough idea for a field sales tool and they turned it into something our reps could actually use in 14 weeks. The sprint demos meant we caught two wrong assumptions early rather than at the end. It went live to all 120 reps in one go and held up.”

FAQ
What is a distributor management system?
A DMS runs the link between a brand and its retail outlets — distributor stock, primary and secondary sales, schemes and claims. Sales force automation is the field-facing half: beat plans, order capture at the outlet, GPS attendance and proof of delivery. Most Indian distribution businesses need both, which is why they are built together here.
How long does an SFA rollout take?
12 to 18 weeks to build. The Hyderabad FMCG distributor went live to all 120 field agents at once after 14 weeks, and reached 3x field productivity within 90 days of go-live.
What happens to orders captured with no internet?
They are stored encrypted on the device. Every order, photo, attendance ping and signature queues locally, and a background worker syncs the queue in creation order the moment the device sees data — including a weak 2G connection. The rep does nothing.
Should we buy an off-the-shelf DMS instead?
If your scheme structure and beat mechanics are standard, an off-the-shelf DMS is cheaper and faster, and we will tell you so. Building makes sense when the scheme engine, the distributor hierarchy or the ERP integration is where your business actually differs — that is normally the part a packaged DMS asks you to change.
Can it integrate with our ERP?
Yes — the product catalogue, pricing tiers and distributor list are typically imported from your existing ERP rather than maintained twice, with order and invoice data flowing back.
