Context
Greenleaf runs a 500-employee manufacturing plant in Pune. HR operated on spreadsheets — attendance, leaves, payroll and statutory compliance. Every month was a 3-day payroll fire-drill and leave approvals routinely took a week via email threads.
Our approach
Phased modernisation — not a big-bang rip-and-replace
We rolled out modules in sequence: attendance + biometric integration first, then leaves and approvals, then payroll computation, then employee self-service. Each module shipped to production before the next started.
Mobile-first employee self-service
Frontline workers got a React Native app for clock-in, leave requests, payslip access and HR communication — without forcing them to use desktops.
Statutory compliance automated
PF, ESI, PT, TDS — all computed within the payroll engine. F&F settlement, Form 16 generation and statutory reports run as scheduled jobs.
The result
NextGen Digital Craft HRMS Portal deployed with attendance, leave management, payroll sync, and employee self-service portal.
