HRMS Software Development Company

greytHR, Keka and Zoho People fit standard HR operations. If yours involves multiple plants, shift-based workforces, or statutory rules those tools treat as edge cases, we build the HRMS around your policies instead — and hand you the source code.

Why custom over off-the-shelf

Module-by-module beats a big-bang rollout

An HR team cannot absorb a whole new system in one weekend. On the Pune manufacturing build we shipped attendance and biometrics first, then leave and approvals, then payroll, then self-service — each in production before the next began. Their HR Director named that sequencing as the reason the team could absorb it at all.

Statutory rules are the hard part, not the CRUD

PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS vary by state and headcount, and the four labour codes keep moving. These are computed inside the payroll engine with audit-ready reports per filing, rather than exported to a consultant and re-keyed.

Frontline staff do not have desktops

Plant and field workers need clock-in, leave and payslips on a phone. Expect the app to take longer to land than the web dashboard — on the Pune build, plant staff needed about a fortnight before they stopped walking to the HR desk. Budget for that, and the rollout stops looking like a failure in week one.

Real engagement

A mid-size manufacturing firm

Payroll processing cut from 3 days to 4 hours, and the monthly reconciliation that used to follow it stopped being necessary.

Attendance, leave approvals and payroll all moved across module by module, which is the only reason our HR team could absorb it. The monthly payroll run went from three days to about four hours. The employee app took the longest to land — plant staff needed a fortnight before they stopped coming to the HR desk.

FAQ

Why build an HRMS when greytHR or Keka already exist?

Usually you should not. If your HR operation is standard, buy one — we will say so on the call. The build case appears when the off-the-shelf tool cannot model something structural: several plants on different attendance hardware, shift and overtime rules it treats as exceptions, or statutory handling it only partly covers. At that point you are paying per seat to still do the hard part in Excel.

How long does a custom HRMS take?

14 to 20 weeks for a full build, shipped module by module so attendance and payroll are live long before the last module lands. The Pune manufacturing client migrated 500 employees this way, and their monthly payroll run went from three days to about four hours.

Can you migrate our existing HR data?

Yes. We accept CSV exports from Zoho People, Keka, GreytHR, Razorpay Payroll and spreadsheets. The data is mapped and validated, then a parallel payroll dry-run is reconciled against your previous month before anything goes live. The switch flips only when the numbers match.

Will our biometric hardware work with it?

Most likely. There are native connectors for Matrix, eSSL, ZKTeco and Realtime, plus a generic SFTP/API ingestion path for anything else. Compatibility is validated before you commit, not after.

Who owns the code?

You do. Source code, infrastructure and documentation transfer to you at delivery. There is no per-seat licence and no cancellation clause holding your employee data.
